OGN Mail is built on a simple promise: your data belongs to you, not to us. We do not track your activity across the web, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or usage data to third parties — ever.

• We do not scan your emails or files to build advertising profiles.
• We do not sell or license data to ad networks, data brokers, or marketers.
• We do not show ads inside OGN Mail.

Your subscription exists to fund a private, ad-free email and cloud service, not an advertising business.

Who We Are

OGN Mail (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an online service providing secure, ad-free email and cloud storage for individuals and small businesses. OGN Mail is operated by OGN Mail LLC, a subsidiary of My Referral Network Inc. (est. 2007) in the United States.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use OGN Mail, including our optional affiliate program.

Information We Collect

1. Account Information You Provide

• Basic details such as name, username, email address, and password (stored in hashed form).
• Contact details you optionally provide for profile or support purposes.
• Affiliate information if you join the OGN Mail affiliate program (e.g., payout details such as Payoneer email or other payout identifiers).

2. Email & Cloud Content

When you use OGN Mail, we store the emails and files you send, receive, and save using our service. This content is stored so you can access it from your mailbox and any email client you connect (for example, Thunderbird or other IMAP/SMTP clients).

We do not scan this content to create advertising profiles or to sell to third parties.

3. Technical & Log Data (Minimal)

Like most online services, our servers (currently provided by HostGator) automatically create limited technical logs when you interact with OGN Mail, such as:

• IP address and rough location (city/region, not precise GPS).
• Browser type, device information, and operating system.
• Dates and times of login, sending, and receiving messages.
• Error messages and diagnostic information.

We use this information solely to operate the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and maintain security. It is not sold or used for advertising or tracking across other sites.

Cookies & Local Storage

OGN Mail uses cookies and similar technologies only for core functionality, such as:

• Keeping you logged in while you use the webmail interface.
• Remembering basic settings or language preferences.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You may disable cookies in your browser, but some features (like staying signed in) may not work correctly.

How Your Email Is Hosted

OGN Mail is hosted on a third-party infrastructure provider, HostGator, using a secure cPanel environment with Roundcube as the primary webmail interface.

• Your mailbox is stored on HostGator servers located in the United States (or other data centers they may use in the future).
• You may connect via any standards-compliant email client (for example, Thunderbird, phone mail apps, and other IMAP/SMTP clients).
• These clients download messages securely using your credentials. We recommend enabling encryption (SSL/TLS) where available.

While HostGator provides the server infrastructure, OGN Mail controls how your service is configured and we do not authorize the use of your data for advertising or tracking purposes.

Payments & Billing

OGN Mail uses third-party payment processors to handle subscription payments and affiliate payouts. We currently work with:

• Stripe (primarily for card payments in supported countries).
• Wompi (for local payments in Colombia and certain Latin-American users).
• Payoneer (primarily for affiliate payouts in multiple countries).

When you make a payment, your card or bank details are processed directly by these providers; OGN Mail does not store full card numbers. Each provider has its own privacy policy describing how they handle your data.

We receive limited billing information from these processors, such as payment status, transaction identifiers, and the country or currency used. We use this information only for accounting, fraud prevention, and providing the service.

Affiliate Program Data

If you choose to participate in the OGN Mail affiliate program, we collect and store the information necessary to track referrals and pay commissions, such as:

• Affiliate ID and referral links.
• Counts of referred subscribers and their subscription status.
• Payment details required for payouts (for example, Payoneer email or ID).

We use this data solely to calculate rewards, monitor compliance with our Affiliate Terms, and issue payouts. This information is not sold or shared with advertisers.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To create and maintain your OGN Mail account.
• To deliver email, cloud storage, and related features you request.
• To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
• To process payments, manage subscriptions, and pay affiliates.

When We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We only share information in limited circumstances:

• Service providers: Infrastructure, email hosting, payment processors, and payout providers that help us deliver OGN Mail (for example, HostGator, Stripe, Wompi, Payoneer). These providers may only use the data as necessary to perform their services.

We retain your information only as long as needed to provide the service and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

• Emails and files are stored until you delete them or close your account.

• Server logs and security records are generally kept for a limited time and then deleted or anonymized.
